Pre-Study Instructions available!

The assignments are coming thick and fast - there's not much time this semester so we're speeding up the planning process to give more time with the actual implementation of the projects.

We've uploaded the instructions for the Pre-Study (under the 'Assignments' section above) due in on Sunday 5th October. Again, it's only one assignment per group. We'll talk about this assignment and answer any questions in the seminar this afternoon.

Prax Lecture Cancelled!

The lecture with Patrick Prax this Wednesday 24th September 13-15 has had to be cancelled. We're working on rearranging the lecture for later in the semester and will let you know as soon as anything is confirmed.

Appologies for the late cancellation but as you'll see below we're working on expanding the course and getting the right people in to create a better learning experience.

See you tomorrow!

Videos from todays class plus other resources…

After some technical difficulties we promised to provide links to the two videos that could/should provide some inspiration for project ideas...

Per Cromwell - Anatomy of Virality

Yes Men Fix the World - full length movie.

Here's a short blog post about goals and objectives that sum up the last couple of slides from today. And for more inspirational projects that Dougald Hine (the guest lecturer from Monday) has been involved in check out Spacemakers.

We've still not received a link to the facebook group of the Class Event and we couldn't find anything when we searched. Whoever was responsible, send us an email and we'll share the facebook page here on the Course Portal.

Thanks for today, positive steps made in the Class Event.

Welcome to SDPMC!

Hej!

Welcome to Sustainable Development: Project Management & Communication!

If you haven't already found them, the Welcome Letter and a Prelimary Schedule are located just about this post under the 'Schedule and Info' drop down menu. Both give you more information about the course and the reading material for those that want to buy some books in advance.

Although the course doesn't offically start until the 2nd September we encourage all students to attend the CEMUS Open Lecture with Dougald Hine on Monday 1st Sept between 18-20 in the Eva Netzelius lecture hall located down the steps as you enter Blåsenhus. Here's a link to the Dark Mountain Manifesto, some of Dougalds earlier work and an interesting read that will get you thinking about the issues that we'll talk about and hopefully deal with as part of the course.

We're looking forward to meeting you all next week!

Per & Ben
