My name is Heleen, a course coordinator at CEMUS for GCSF and Sustainable Design. In two weeks’ time I will visit your class for a workshop on ‘Strategies for Change.’ During this workshop we will go through a couple of steps from a design process and we will use various creativity techniques which can help you to find innovative solutions for your group projects.
In preparation for this workshop I would like to ask you to watch the following video:

This clip is a quick and clear introduction to a design process. It is important that you will watch it in advance, since I will talk about it frequently during the workshop, but we will not have time to watch it in class. While you watch the video, try to take a couple notes on the different things, and especially the actions, you see.

This second video is a recommendation (not mandatory for everyone) for those of you who are interested in the subject or those of you who are convinced that they are not ‘a creative person.’ We will not work with this video as much during the workshop, but it will help you prepare for it.
