Plastic bags, plastic bottles, plastic cutlery, plastic food packaging, plastic tops on the milk… even the bread bag for that croissant I can’t resist has a necessary plastic window!
However, from today and a month ahead, I will avoid all that and more (as far as it is actually possible without having to stop buying food…and croissants). I will keep drinking out of my glass bottle and find other plastic-less alternatives to those everyday plastic items that we use. I will no longer pretend that I don’t have a clue about its devastating effects on our health and above all, our planet! Instead, I will use that awareness and the responsibility that comes with it, to spur myself on and beat this 30 Day Challenge!
Please join me if you feel inspired and maybe we can make it a plastic-free future!

Yes, that is definitely a challenge, we are sure you will end up surprised to see in how many products plastic is actually included. In case you start to struggle ‘Garbage Island’ might be a good motivation to continue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7rNYzSH-BA. We are curious to see what creative alternatives you need to find the next 30 days to avoid the use of plastic. Best of luck!
