SDESIGN distance

Summer 2012

Which role does design play in the quest for sustainability? How can an interdisciplinary approach to design unlock new creativity and beauty? How could different design solutions in nature serve as a model for new human made designs? And what are the limits of human ingenuity and creative design?

These are some of the questions we are excited to dig further into with this course "Sustainable Design". With inspiration from ecology and nature, and in-depth discussion of how cultural conditions define human perceptions of the environment, the course tries to reach practical conclusions on how creative design can contribute to a sustainable and insipiring world

It is time for the Feedback Assignment!

In the file area where you submitted the assignment it is now possible to retrieve someone else's submission to give them feedback, make sure you choose the name that come after yours alphabetically (if you are last in the alphabet then take the first in the alphabet). If there is no report for the name directly below yours then take the next name down that has a report submitted.

You can send the email by going to the participants list (if an email is not shown it is just because it has been hidden for privacy purposes, you can still send an email to the person through the list function).

Again remember to CC (Dold Kopia) to Sdesign@csduppsala.uu.se so that we can mark off that you have done the feedback assignment.
