Christmas is a time of joy and being with loved ones. However, present-day Christmas traditions have come to entail profligacy and reckless consumption. A change must happen. How can we create new traditions? This is where you and the CEMUS CHRISTMAS CALENDAR COMPETITION come into the picture. We want you to share your best tips for a more sustainable lifestyle. How can we consume less but still spread fun and joy at Christmas time? What tips do you have for more sustainable living, at Christmas or the whole year around?
The 23 best suggestions will be selected and presented in our online CHRISTMAS CALENDAR, where a new film will be released every day from December 1st. Are you up for the challenge?
There are only 2 rules to follow:
- We want you to present your suggestion in a 2-3min long video
- It has to be a positive example towards a more sustainable lifestyle that can easily be copied by everyone – even those not really interested in sustainable development.
Deadline for the competition is November 17th. Upload your video to Youtube or Vimeo and send the link of the video to cecilia.esbjornsson@csduppsala.uu.se
